"There are buttons on the dress, and buttons on the cape. And no brooch. Can't fasten the cape to the dress no matter how hard we try. However, the dress is really nice and good value for the sale price. Great dress up."

"I have a chunky six year old daughter who wears a size 7 plus or 8/10 regular. This costume was unbelievably enormous, so don't purchase it for a child unless they are about a youth sized 14 and good sized. It is well sewn and very sweet looking, especially the bloomers and the hat, so I was sorry they didn't work. I even though perhaps I could just take it in, but she was swimming in it and it would have been too much work and not looked proportional."

"This dress met with my daughters and my approval big time :) Such a sweet girlie dress with a hoop skirt and very well sized. We didn't get the purse and the parasol wasn't available, so just the dress and hat. One complaint would be that the hat is just a hoop and is way too small for either my 6 year old or my 9 year old even though the dress fits both of them well. (big on my 6 year old - child size large)."

"Ditto to what the previous reviewer wrote. Really sturdy construction for a cheap item, but won't stay up. Latch is faulty. Can't decide whether to keep it and make it work or send it back."

Angel Child Costume

"I can't imagine a child for whom this costume will work. The leotard, as the earlier reviewer mentioned, does not stretch. It has a minuscule neck hole and you are expected to get your body through the hole without tearing it. The ties (in the back) came off in my hand when I tried to fasten them. The bottom gaped. With the skirt over the bottom of the leotard isn't too important, but the skirt was hugely voluminous, out of proportion to the size of the leotard. Some engineering work needs to be put in to this costume to make it wearable."
