"Read reviews before ordering, so ordered a 10-12 for my 8-y-o, fits great. The hat is a bit floppy but it looks cute. We're happy with this. I think the key is managing expectations; it's a Halloween costume, and is about the same level of quality as all our other costumes."

Title: Does not fit!

"Ordered size 4 - 6 for my 4 1/2-year old, 41" tall and 20" waist, and it doesn't fit. The battery box for the lights pushes into her stomach, the upper body is tight, and it's short. I would not recommend this! The next size up is an 8 - 10, so I'm doubtful that this would fit her, either. Note that she is smaller than the size chart, but that this item still doesn't fit. Very disappointing because it's such a cute costume. (The clip for her hair was broken when it arrived, too.)"
