"this deluxe costume is so much nicer than the basic version...the fabric quality and colors are much better...it has real buttons on the overalls where the basic costume only has polyester circles. the quality of the hat is also better and you get gloves and a blow up belly...which we probably won't be using because the gloves are too big...but it's nice to have. only real problem is the sizing...size small (4-6) is really only big enough for a 3 or maybe 4 yr old...then it goes up to size 8-10 which is labeled for 5-7 yrs old, but my avg size 5 yr old is swimming in it....it's really way too big and will need to be altered which is kind of a pain....there needs to be a size in between the 4-6 and 8-10, but that's not an option, thus my 4 star quality rating...all in all, my son looks really cute in it and can't wait for halloween :)"

"cute costume, but compared to the deluxe mario costume, it's very poor quality. the fabric is almost see-through and there are no buttons on the overalls, they're just round pieces of polyester...looks tacky. i thought the deluxe version was exactly the same as this costume, but with a blow up belly and gloves, but i was wrong...it's much better quality fabric and colors are nicer...and also includes gloves (which probably won't fit any child) and the blow up belly. but it's worth the extra money just for improved quality....the deluxe version has real buttons on the overalls and even the hat is much nicer. but be forewarned the sizing is tough, size small will only fit an avg size 3-4 yr old, then the next size is 8-10 which is huge on my 5 yr old...but it's better to be too big because you can always alter and have room to layer underneath in case of cold trick or treating weather"
