Title: My kid's cuter than your kid
Date:October 14, 2011
" I got this one for my 4 year old son, who insists this is not just any old X-wing fighter pilor guy, this is SKYWALKER. (He doesn't know the "Luke" part. Just SKYWALKER. With emphasis.)
It fit just fine, though it comes with a lot of weird straps that I'm not quite sure how to attach or tie or affix. But boy, he looks cute in it. I'm not sure I'm supposed to say that SKYWALKER, who should be somewhat heroic yet menacing in his fighter pilot getup, is "cute," but my kid is cute, so whatever.
One comment: The helmet looks cooler in the picture than it really is. It's thin plastic, like a plastic mask kind of plastic. And it attaches down the center with velcro, so it's actually 2 pieces. This is good if your child happens to have a large noggin, like mine does.
Anyway, little boys will love this costume. Go for it. "

Title: What you'd expect
Date:October 14, 2011
" My 7 year old had to have this, so I caved. The costume is what I expected, but the first time we received it, the baggie with the belt and tights was nowhere to be found. So we had to go for round 2...this time it arrived intact. The tights are tissue-thin, though, and my 7 year old quickly put a run in them. Thank goodness a miracle baggie of extra tights with a belt showed up in package a few days later. It was like, somehow, they KNEW. Anyway, my kiddo is happy, and that's what counts. "

She Knows all the Spells! Not one to be reckoned with, her bad side can't be matched! Very snake-like and sassy, her costume features a green dress, glovettes with draping fabric*, snake hair headpiece with 9 snakes, and leg ties. 4-piece set. Polyester. Hand wash. Does not include shoes or staff. Please Note: Drapes on arms are shorter than shown, exact color shading may vary from shown. Headpiece also differs from shown.

Title: Total letdown
Date:October 14, 2011
" Let me start off by saying that the headband thing with the snakes is pretty darn cool. So there's that.
Otherwise, though, this costume is just junk. I ordered this for my almost 10 year old daughter, who is a little round, but certainly not past adult sizes or anything. This wouldn't come close to zipping up on her. The zipper itself arrived stuck and almost impossible to move.
We exchanged for the Adult Large, thinking surely this should fit a 9 year old girl, but nope. I could zip it, but just barely, and then the zipper stuck again, and then split open all the way down the back. It has no bottom tab thingy on the zipper, so you can't re-attach it.
My daughter likes the costume, and the rest of it - aside from the size and the awful flimsy zipper - is pretty cool looking. So I'm going to have to get out a sewing machine (that's code for "ask my mother-in-law to sew for me") and see if we can't doctor this into something that will fit a child. They should have made this with a stretchy back and no zipper, and we'd have been set.
Save your money. "
