"Great boots which we used to compliment a pioneer costume. True to size. They appear to be a laced boot but the zippered inner makes them really simple for a child to get on and off. Comfortable. Slight heel, which adds to the character of the boot."

Title: Pioneer Costume for my 8 year old

"My daughter is in grade 3 and studying a unit on Pioneers. This dress was perfect for her day in the life of a pioneer activity and also her performance in the Spirit assembly. Velcro closure behind neck. The apron can be removed, it's a real apron that ties in the back. The hat (bonnet) is elasticized and fits well. I agree with other reviewers that you should size up as it runs small (my 8yo wears a size 10/12 but we went with a size 14). Fabric is somewhat shiny but the quality is still good for a costume. Great costume!"
