Title: Nice for the price

"Beret had the desired effect -- I wore it on two separate occasions, both times with a black turtleneck, black jeans, and black shoes -- for a Famous Artist/French Existentialist/Beat Poet sort of look.
I've never owned a "real" beret -- so I'm not sure how they are supposed to work. This item gripped my head, but needed to be adjusted occasionally during the course of the day in order to maintain its desired "tilted" look."

"Good costume, gets a smile from both adults and children. Three things to keep in mind, however: 1) the edging to the jacket appears straight gold in the photo, but mine in fact had a rather greenish cast; 2) do not expect to wear this costume right out of the packaging -- it will probably require some straightening and/or ironing prior to use; and 3) I found it useful to safety pin the front sides of the "jacket" to the "vest" section -- otherwise they tend to flap about whenever you move."
