"I bought this for my older daughter to wear for Halloween..Juliet could just as easily double up as a Renaissance princess costume, paired with a gold tiara & some pearls. It is a strikingly pretty costume- the royal blue velvet looks splendid and is a great contrast with the white lace. I ordered a size 10-12, which is my daughter's orig size and it was rather loose and long for her. Problem solved with some fabric glue which I used to tuck up the end of the dress by 3-4 inches and 2 slim gold ribbons attached to the waist enabled me to tie it at the back which made the dress drape better around her. My daughter got a lot of compliments for this dress & she truly felt beautiful in it!"

"Got this for my dauhter's 4th b'day party, which falls around Halloween,. We did a Princess tea party themed b'day & all the girls were asked to come dressed in their royal finery as befitted the occasion. You won't believe the raves my daughter & I got for her costume! So unlike the costumes one typically finds in stores. This one just stood out from the rest & my little b'day girl truly felt like he was the belle of the ball!"
