"My child is three inches taller than the low end of the height range for the size I bought, although she is one year younger than the age range. The costume is huge on her around the bodice. It still looks cute, though, so I'm going to sew a strip of elastic into the back of the waist so it fits a little better. Also, I plan on ironing/steaming the hat and placing something inside of it to hold its shape while worn, since it's fairly flimsy. Finally, the orange is neon and not normal orange, as pictured. I would have preferred normal orange. Overall, though, it's a very cute costume, and it looks like it will hold up well through all of my child's parties and trick-or-treat plans. Most important: my child loves it and feels very cute when wearing it. :-)"
"The muscles are not stuffed with fluff, as in other costumes, but instead are simply a hard molded foam board. My son has played in this for a few hours, and the paint is already coming off of the lightning bolt chest emblem. The belt is lightweight foam that curls where it's supposed to be pointed. All told, a bummer, BUT my son has no clue this costume isn't absolutely perfect. He loves it. I just hope it holds up!"
"This petticoat is adorable but is only eight inches long. It barely covers my child's bum, so it doesn't come close to peeking beneath the costume it was shown with. The quality is nice, but it is very mis-sized. Also - be warned that returns must be made within 14 days of delivery. I'm glad I noticed that in their return policy!"
