Title: Not as bad as other reviews suggest

"I saw a lot of bad reviews for this product, that it broke easily etc. So far, ours is still going strong, although I will admit that my 7 year old probably takes better care of his things than most his age. The one thing that is disappointing is the light output which is very dim. I'm thinking that retrofitting LEDs would probably help a lot. if anyone can figure out how to do that, let me know!! Otherwise, it looks cool and really helped make my son's "Savage Opress" Clone Wars costume."

"This was perfect for my 7 year old's Hermione costume. It is close to a full-size adult tie, but you can tuck the excess in behind the shirt. Nothing fancy, but did the job."
